Diarrhea kills 2,195 children every day—more than AIDS, malaria, and measles combined.
Diarrhea diseases account for 1 in 9 child deaths worldwide, making diarrhea the second leading cause of death among children under 5 yrs. old.
For children with HIV, diarrhea is even more deadly; the death rate for these children is 11 times higher than the rate for children without HIV.
Diarrhea: What we know - Diarrhea causes death by depleting body fluids resulting in profound dehydration.
Diarrhea can have a detrimental impact on childhood growth and cognitive development.
About 88% of diarrhea-associated deaths are attributable to unsafe water, inadequate sanitation, and insufficient hygiene.
Rotavirus is the leading cause of acute diarrhea and causes about 40% of hospitalizations for diarrhea in children under 5 yrs.
Most diarrhea germs are spread from the stool of one person to the mouth of another. These germs are usually spread through contaminated water, food, or objects.
Water, food, and objects become contaminated with stool in many ways: People and animals defecate in or near water sources that people drink.
Contaminated water is used to irrigate crops. Food preparers do not wash their hands before cooking.
People with contaminated hands touch objects, such as doorknobs, tools,or cooking utensils.
Diarrhea kills more children than malaria, measles, and AIDS combined. Proportional distribution of cause-specific deaths among children under five years of age, 2012 (excluding neonatal deaths).
Changes in diet, lifestyle, food sensitivities, etc. can bring about gastrointestinal ("GI") problems, which are painful and disruptive. The key active ingredient in RESTORE was developed by High Point's chief formulator that combines the immune capabilities of living plants to the digestive tract of humans.
Plants have an amazing ability to deal with attacks. Since they cannot run away from an attacker, plants have developed exceptional wound healing processes. While humans used to eat a wide variety of fresh plants, today’s processed diet is often devoid of these natural compounds, which are very important to our own healing process. It’s estimated that about 80% of our body’s immune system is in the gut. When taking RESTORE, the herbal extracts trigger the repair response on damaged areas of the intestinal wall while healthy tissue and beneficial bacteria are unharmed. As a result, RESTORE helps restore and maintain the functioning of the digestive system by stopping diarrhea or digestive discomfort.
When taken, RESTORE delivers stabilized plant wound defense compounds to damaged, irritated areas of the stomach and intestines. The herbal extracts bind to pathogens, toxins and gastrointestinal immune receptors to prevent the release of the body’s chemical signals that trigger diarrhea, pain and other biological responses.
RESTORE rapidly restores healthy digestive function with a low risk of side effects and without wiping out healthy bacteria**.

ORIGIN AND VARIETY
It is known that the pomegranate was cultivated in ancient times because evidence of the consumption of this fruit in Egyptian tombs 2,500 years before the Christian era have been discovered. It is believed that the Carthaginians introduced the pomegranate in the Mediterranean region as a result of the Punic wars, hence the name proposed by Linnaeus: Punica granatum. Theophrastus described this tree around 300 BC and Pliny referred to it as one of the most valuable fruit.
Pomegranate is a fruit of very low caloric value due to low carbohydrate content. The major component is water which highlights its component mineral, potassium. Potassium is necessary for the generation and transmission of nerve impulses and normal muscle activity. Other notable components in pomegranate are citric acid (disinfectant properties, alkalines urine and potentiates the action of vitamin C), malic acid, flavonoids (antioxidant pigments) and tannins. The latter are substances with astringent and anti-inflammatory properties. Some of the property actions of tannins are drying and inflammation of the intestinal mucosa (lining layer inside the digestive tract), so they are effective in the treatment of diarrhea.
